Who loves a good book shelfie?! It’s time to get ready for spooky season with some not-so-scary toddler-friendly Halloween books that your little ones will love! What I mean by that is to update this space every now and then to keep things exciting and feeling new.
Simply rotating the books and switching out a few decor pieces will keep your kids coming back to this space again and again. And what better time to do that than ahead of the holidays?! A themed book wall is the perfect motivation to switch things up!
Three Tips for Creating a Halloween-Themed Shelfie:
Since you want to build excitement in anticipation of the holiday, I would recommend updating this space about a month in advance, sometime around mid- to late-September or even right around October 1st. Gather all your Halloween books so they’re ready to display!
Adding a festive garland is a cute addition to these shelves. It adds texture, a pop of color, and can be draped along the ledges in so many different ways. Here are some great garland options!
Here’s where you get to have some fun! Stuffed toys, stick-on bats, pumpkins, or artwork are just a few ideas of things you can add to cozy up this space. I also love a good letterboard with some fun quotes!
